Job Summary: We are seeking a Maintenance and Reliability Supervisor to lead and coordinate plant maintenance, ensuring equipment availability and continuous reliability improvement. Key Highlights: 1. Lead and coordinate plant maintenance 2. Ensure equipment availability and reduce failures 3. Drive continuous improvement of facility reliability Overview: **Maintenance and Reliability Supervisor** Production Plant We seek an industrial maintenance professional to lead and coordinate plant maintenance, ensuring equipment availability, failure reduction, and continuous improvement of facility reliability. This role combines operational management, technical team coordination, and incident analysis in an industrial environment. Responsibilities: * Plan and coordinate preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance across the plant. * Organize daily work for the maintenance team and external contractors. * Analyze recurring failures and propose improvements to increase equipment reliability. * Monitor maintenance KPIs, downtime durations, and plan adherence. * Coordinate with Production to minimize operational impact from maintenance interventions. * Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and housekeeping standards on-site. * Lead the site’s Asset Reliability Program. Be accountable for and implement Major Incident Reporting (MIR), Analytical Problem Solving (APS), and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) systems, acting as the “controller” for effective closure, ensuring all relevant improvements are coordinated through appropriate teams. * Integrate asset reliability into the site’s maintenance strategy and ensure plans exist to execute the long-term improvement agenda, effectively reducing unplanned downtime and eliminating repetitive failures through reliability processes. * Manage the site’s Condition Monitoring and Lubrication function to achieve the concept of “zero planned maintenance time”, thereby increasing technical availability. * Support planning of any failure-related work (“corrective” / “preventive” / RCA), applying Design-Out-of-Maintenance (DOM) methodologies to manage OEM manufacturers and new investments. * Establish a formal evaluation cycle: use the CMMS system to generate accurate analytical data, identify improvement areas, and prevent failures via Top 10 analysis (frequency, cost, and downtime), Pareto analysis, cost summary reports, and effective data analysis to identify critical areas (“hot spots”). * Use cost summaries to identify critical areas based on P/Kg and CARV indicators per line and per area. Drive action plans to resolve the top three issues in each period. * Support the Maintenance Coordinator in achieving Manufacturing Equipment Excellence through “Excellence in Execution”, ensuring all PMs (Preventive Maintenance) deliver value, are cost-effective, and that the site possesses appropriate technical capability (right skills, right task, right location). Promote the value of the PM system, foster a “Less is More” culture in preventive maintenance, and encourage low-cost reliability improvements. * Responsible for the site’s Criticality Program. Integrate RCM protocols to ensure the most cost-effective maintenance requirements for critical equipment are implemented and reviewed through a systematic review process of existing maintenance (REM) (RCM Review). * Key stakeholder in delivering PEMM results for the Maintenance Support Department, with accountability for the Reliability section. Where applicable, support the Maintenance Coordinator in implementing the “Blue\-Chip” strategy to position the site as a “Center of Excellence” in maintenance. * Drive the maintenance planning agenda based on MBI (Maintenance\-By\-Impression), promoting it as the future of planning. * Responsible for working at height (GEHSMS). * Responsible for the MESS system (GEHSMS). * Responsible for legal inspections. * Support annual shutdown planning (planning, spare parts, technicians, etc.). * Support the LOTO program. Qualifications: * Higher Vocational Training (FP Grado Superior) in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Electromechanics, or related field. * Experience in industrial maintenance within a production plant. * Ability to coordinate teams, prioritize tasks, and resolve incidents. * Knowledge of failure analysis, continuous improvement, and equipment reliability. * Familiarity with CMMS/GMAO systems and automation/PLC knowledge is desirable. * English language proficiency (spoken and written) is desirable.
