We currently employ more than 160 in-house experts, delivering consultancy services across diverse fields including environmental audits and permits, sustainable finance and taxonomy, ESG, biodiversity and natural capital, climate change, environmental risk assessment, soil and water pollution mitigation, social impacts, sustainable buildings and infrastructure, acoustic impact, etc. We emphasize high-level technical qualifications across our entire staff, maintain an international network for innovation and technological development, serve an outstanding portfolio of top-tier clients and projects, and develop proprietary and collaborative digital solutions with technology partners. Due to growth in this area, we are seeking to hire an Environmental Consultant with experience in environmental monitoring for construction projects in building, civil works, and water supply networks. **Key Responsibilities** * Lead and supervise environmental monitoring on construction sites * Review technical and environmental documentation * Ensure compliance with environmental regulations * Support management of administrative procedures with public authorities * Identify and manage environmental risks * Prepare and review technical reports * Coordinate with clients, public authorities, and contractors * Supervise environmental monitoring teams **Requirements** * University degree in Environmental Sciences, Biology, Agro-Environmental Engineering, Forestry Engineering, Natural Environment Engineering, or related disciplines * Minimum 5 years’ experience in environmental monitoring for construction projects and/or environmental or sustainability consulting * Solid knowledge of Spanish environmental legislation * English language proficiency at B2 level (C1 is desirable), both written and spoken * Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel by car * **Ensure** functional capacity required to perform the duties inherent to the position (to be assessed at the start of employment via medical examination) **Additional Information** **About AECOM** AECOM is the world’s trusted infrastructure consulting firm, delivering professional services throughout the project lifecycle—from advisory, planning, design, and engineering to program and construction management.
