**Workplace**: *Arroyo de la Bulera Street, 11 and 13, 28021 Madrid* **Program**: *Social Coexistence in Villaverde District Lot 1: Prevention and Mediation Service for Conflicts* **Professional Group:** *1* **Working Hours**: *38.25 hours per week, scheduled Monday to Friday.* **Gross Monthly Salary**: *€1,876.97 (14 payments per year)* **Gross Annual Salary**: *€26,277.57* **Contract Type**: *Substitution* **Start Date**: *Immediate* **Probation Period**: *2 months* **Hierarchical Reporting**: *Project Manager* **Functional Reporting**: *Head of Mediation and Coexistence Area* **JOB MISSION** Participate in a service that intervenes through mediation in neighborhoods across the Villaverde District, addressing neighborhood and community conflicts, as well as engaging in community processes in coordination with local social networks and district services—thereby promoting citizen participation, coexistence, and healthy leisure activities in public spaces, at organizations, and within residents’ communities. **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (NON-EXHAUSTIVE):** * Intervention in resolving neighborhood conflicts; case and family support within mediation activities; follow-up on mediation files. * Support at designated mediation points in the requesting neighborhood district, including advice and/or accompaniment. Residents will receive information on situations where mediation applies or be referred to appropriate services, as requested. * Participation in existing community processes within the territory. * Intervention in community mediation processes identified by the Service or requested by local social networks. * Development of a mediation intervention plan for district neighborhoods, complemented by other district social resources and ongoing community development initiatives. * Updating the diagnosis of social coexistence in Villaverde within the framework of the District’s Coexistence, Social Cohesion, and Security Plan, incorporating a gender perspective. * Promotion of participation by resident groups, providing individual and group support and training to natural leaders across different groups, collectives, and communities—as agents sustaining coexistence. * Implementation of a community activity program—including recreational-cultural and sports activities—to create meeting spaces that foster awareness-raising and coexistence, based on integration and equal opportunity for all residents of the neighborhoods. **BENEFITS** * Flexible entry and exit times. * Partial remote work. * For full annual working schedules: 60 hours of discretionary time. * 23 working days of vacation. * Opportunities for work-life balance. * Opportunities for career and professional development. * Laptop and smartphone with access to the M365 environment. ### **Minimum Requirements** **ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS** * Degree in Social Work. **COMPLEMENTARY TRAINING** * University Expert Certification in Mediation. **PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE** * Minimum of 1 year of experience in Community Intervention Programs within primary group care frameworks. * Experience planning and implementing recreational-cultural programs. * Experience in community development processes. * Project formulation using logical framework methodology. **OTHER REQUIREMENTS** * Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office). * Certificate confirming no convictions for sexual offenses. **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** * Training in interventions from a gender perspective. * Knowledge of French and/or English. * Disability certificate indicating ≥33% disability. **CORE COMPETENCIES** * Commitment to the organization and strategic vision * Rigor, efficiency, and quality orientation * Flexibility and adaptability to change * Teamwork * Participant-centered approach * Empathy * Organizational ability * Proactive and solution-oriented mindset * Effective communication * Negotiation skills * Frustration tolerance
