Atenea automates processes, optimizes operations, reduces processing times, and enhances order traceability — becoming the engine enabling hundreds of brands to grow without logistical constraints. **About the Role** ---------------- We are seeking a **Backend Developer** with Python experience to join the product and technology team responsible for Atenea’s evolution. You will participate in the design, development, and scaling of critical services processing thousands of daily logistics operations. You will work on an event-driven cloud-native architecture, contributing to robust, scalable, and efficient solutions that directly impact the operations of hundreds of customers. You will have the opportunity to engage in technical decision-making, propose architectural improvements, and collaborate closely with product and other technology teams to take our platform to the next level. **Tech Stack** --------------------- * Python * AWS (Lambda, SQS, EventBridge, API Gateway) * DynamoDB * Serverless Architecture * Terraform * CI/CD * GitHub * Vue.js (collaboration with frontend) **Responsibilities** --------------------- * Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python. * Build and evolve event-driven architectures on AWS. * Develop new features for Atenea while ensuring quality, performance, and maintainability. * Participate in architectural and technical design decisions. * Optimize high-volume processes, integrations, and data flows. * Collaborate with the product team to translate business needs into technical solutions. * Maintain quality standards through testing, code reviews, and sound development practices. * Contribute to continuous improvement of infrastructure, observability, and deployment processes. **Requirements** -------------- +4 years of experience developing backend applications with Python. Experience working with distributed and event-driven architectures. Strong knowledge of API design, service integration, and scalable software development. Experience with AWS and serverless services (Lambda, SQS, EventBridge or similar). Experience working with NoSQL databases, preferably DynamoDB. Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) and CI/CD processes. Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Analytical mindset, product orientation, and ability to solve complex problems.
