Summary: The Global Category Manager Consumables plans and leads strategic category aspects, providing high-value procurement solutions and ensuring best-in-class delivery. Highlights: 1. Ensure best-in-class delivery of external services and products ### **Summary** The Global Category Manager Consumables plans and leads all strategic aspects of the category across divisions on a Global level and develops proposals for strategic business decisions. The role provides high value procurement solutions to the business and category strategies; support third party vendor selection, vendor development, technology management and performance measurement activities. The successful candidate will ensure best\-in\-class delivery of external services and products in the Consumables category to support projects and to realize year\-on\-year productivity improvements, cost savings, and process improvements. \#LI\-Hybrid ### **About the Role** **Major accountabilities:** * Drive implementation of strategic goals in line with overall organisational and procurement objectives. * Plan, organise, and oversee projects, ensuring effective coordination of priorities, resources, and stakeholders. * Manage budgets, resource allocation, and constraints to achieve optimal project outcomes. * Ensure compliance with financial, regulatory, and organisational standards throughout project execution. * Identify and address risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as needed. * Apply analytical and project management skills to support business objectives. * Utilise digital tools and systems to enhance project planning, tracking, and reporting. * Collaborate and communicate effectively with cross\-functional teams and external partners. * Deliver results that meet project scope, budget, and timeline expectations. * Promote continual improvement and contribute to process optimisation across functions. **Minimum Requirements:** * 5\-10 years of relevant business experience in large corporate organizations (industry specific experience is a plus). * Preferably 5\-10 experience in Procurement or other related experience within the pharmaceutical industry – Cell Therapy, Gene Therapy, Large Molecule Drug Substance, Drug Product, Sterile Fill \& Finish – preferably in category management, supplier management, or related area (Technical operations, Supply chain,. * University/Advanced degree is required. * Master’s Degree/other advanced degree in the **Nature or Life Sciences, or Economics**is preferred. * Strong leadership skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills * Expertise in organization dynamics and culture, ability to gain trust and confidence at all levels in the organization, leadership and project management experience **Languages :** * English. **Benefits and Rewards:** Company Pension Plan, Life and Accidental Insurance, Meals Allowance or Canteen in the office, Flexible working hours.
