Collaboration in continuous improvement and optimization projects In Lizartza, we are looking for a person for the position of electromechanical maintenance technician. The main task will be to guarantee that production lines operate smoothly and consistently. This will be achieved by carrying out the established maintenance plan, which combines preventive and corrective maintenance of all machinery and installations. The work will cover key areas such as industrial electricity, system control, pneumatics, hydraulics, and climate control. Your role will be essential in commissioning new equipment and ensuring that machinery operates perfectly after technical stoppages or shift changes. You will also participate in the assembly of new production lines and the expansion of existing ones to adapt to the plant's demands. Your support will be fundamental in continuous improvement projects, always aiming to optimize equipment efficiency and safety. In case of incidents or breakdowns, you will be responsible for first response and diagnosis to minimize downtime. You will technically manage interventions, document them appropriately, and collaborate with the rest of the maintenance team to ensure overall proper operation. The contract type will be temporary with possible extension. For this position, it is mandatory to hold a Higher Vocational Training Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electromechanics, or a similar qualification. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in industrial maintenance is required. Prior experience in the food industry will be especially valued. Solid knowledge in electromechanics is essential, with a balanced proficiency in both electricity and mechanics. Additional knowledge in PLCs, welding, sheet metal work, packaging machinery, or industrial ovens will be considered advantageous. We seek an adaptable, autonomous individual capable of teamwork and with ambition for professional growth. A forklift or lifting equipment operator’s license is required, as well as availability to work rotating shifts.
