Collaboration in RSPO implementation and certification **Description:** ---------------- Micofer By Empatif is recruiting a QUALITY TECHNICIAN (M/F) for a major food industry company located near As Pontes, currently experiencing strong growth. The main responsibilities include: * Frequent inspection of all critical points to ensure proper system operation. * Management of documentation required for quality recordkeeping. * Supporting verification and execution of necessary controls during production and packaging processes; additionally reporting sanitary issues that may arise and related needs to General Management. * Participating in sampling and grading of incoming batches and their maintenance. * Monitoring weighing and temperature measurement equipment, and organizing the calibration schedule. * Verifying proper hygienic conditions in each area before commencement of each production stage, and reviewing real-time recorded data. * Reporting and tracking potential non-conformities related to quality. * Preparing technical specifications and labels. * Waste management; reviewing basic laboratory procedures and checking staff protective clothing. * Training personnel on food safety and quality matters. * Handling customer complaints, conducting supplier audits, and participating in decision-making regarding sanitary alerts alongside the HACCP team. * Supporting the implementation, maintenance, and certification of the RSPO Chain of Custody system. We offer the following: * Initial employment through Micofer By Empatif, with the intention of continuity and eventual transition to the client company. * Rotating shifts Monday to Friday, covering morning, afternoon, and night hours coordinated with production schedules. * Job stability and professional growth within an ideal work environment conducive to such development. **Requirements:** --------------- * Ability to commute to the workplace located near As Pontes. * Proven prior experience of 2\-3 years in a similar position. * Completed studies in the biosanitary field or related disciplines involving laboratory functions or equivalent. * Additional training in HACCP is desirable, as well as knowledge of Food Defense protocols / Pest Management / Food Fraud / Food Alerts / RSPO Chain of Custody. * Teamwork capability, conciliatory and proactive attitude.
