The Accounting Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing cost accounting processes, and ensuring compliance with corporate policies within the company. This position supports daily financial operations, provides detailed cost and variance analysis, and ensures the integrity of inventory, production, and accounting data. Your responsibilities will include serving as deputy for the control area in all aspects related to increasingly stringent reporting requirements, with knowledge of all necessary processes for reporting in Helios, HFM\&OS. **Responsibilities and Duties:** Accounting Operations Perform daily accounting activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and month\-end close. Responsible for all aspects related to calculating Reset Template schedules for each Reset contract. Prepare files serving as the basis for accounting entries of Landlord Adjustment and Capital Lease for RESET contracts. Monitor compliance with deficiencies in Reset contracts (and coordinate with Customer Service). The Finance Deputy Director will review monthly shortfalls. Fixed asset management and accounting, including monthly depreciation and coordination of fixed asset inventory. Responsible for all monthly payroll accounting. Prepare calculations and accounting entries for monthly commissions. **Cost Recharges:** Control of all costs to be recharged to other countries. Finance Deputy Director on aging analysis and doubtful provision. Maintain accurate and timely inventory reserves. Maintain accurate and timely expense records. Support in obtaining required information from the Business Partner. Expert in extracting data from IFS and other Business Intelligence tools. Extensive knowledge of PowerBI and Excel. Analyze overhead costs, variances, and cost drivers. Financial recording and support in preparing financial statements (GL \& IL close) on a monthly basis. Support preparation of annual financial statements. Assist in budget preparation. This includes providing company personnel with historical expense data and information across various general ledger coding schemes. Deputy of Finance and Accounting. Internal Controls and Compliance Collaborate with internal and external audits and provide required documentation. As an audit expert, coordinate the department on statutory audit requests, liaising between auditors and finance. Identify and implement improvements in accounting and costing processes. Support compliance with internal controls and corporate finance policies (as applicable). Reporting and Cross\-Functional Collaboration Work closely with the Controller on report analysis and ad hoc projects; including deputy for the control area in all aspects related to increasingly stringent reporting requirements, with knowledge of all necessary processes for reporting in Helios, HFM\&OS. This includes staying informed about recent changes in financial reporting practices and contributing to the information preparation process. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. 3–5 years of accounting experience. Valuable experience with HELIOS and HFM. Proficient in accounting and reporting. Experience with ERP systems (IFS, SAP, Oracle (OneStream), or similar). Strong computer skills including PowerBi, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail. Ability to work independently, prioritize and manage tasks to meet deadlines and expectations with minimal supervision. Confidence and professional attitude, ability to maintain composure in a fast\-paced environment. Demonstrated effectiveness in written and verbal communication skills. Strong accounting skills including treasury, fixed assets, capital leasing, payroll, accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and budgeting. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Work experience as an accountant. Excellent knowledge of accounting standards and procedures, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Practical experience with accounting software such as IFS. Experience with reporting software such as HELIOS and HFM/OneStream. Advanced MS Excel skills including Experience with general ledger functions. High attention to detail and strong analytical skills. Personal qualities of integrity and credibility; a proactive and practical strategic thinker who will act as owner in collaboration with the CFO and Controller. Fluency in English is a must. Strong interpersonal and communication skills; experience effectively communicating key data, including presentations to senior leadership, the board, or other external partners.
