**Responsibilities:**
The person in this role will focus on the following two pillars:
Implementation of “Waste”, OEE, and HSE improvements, pursuing continuous improvement of production lines and the plant.
* Conduct loss analysis, define technical solutions, and track results of such improvements.
* Identify and engage with various suppliers using the BVOA (Best Value Option Analysis) approach.
* Capital Management: initiate investments, place orders, monitor investment economics, and close investments.
* Integrate changes, projects, or improvements without disrupting operations while ensuring project objectives are met.
Process Engineer for launch of initiatives:
* Serve as the liaison with the Operations department to ensure alignment between both departments during project development and implementation of new operations with new technologies.
* Participate in the problem definition and strategy phases of improvement projects, ensuring LEAN tools are applied in each phase and managing necessary resources throughout the project.
* Participate in key Packaging projects for the company.
* Interact directly with the Quality department after improvement projects have been implemented, organizing measurements and performing statistical tracking of results to ensure manufactured product quality.
* Be responsible for developing the action plan for outstanding items post-improvement implementation, serving as the point of contact for the Operations department to resolve these items.
* Analyze losses incurred during project execution to prevent recurrence in the future.
**Requirements:**
* Official university degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering obtained within the last 3 years.
* Intermediate English level (First Certificate).
* Knowledge of Lean methodologies is desirable.
* Availability to take this temporary position for one year.
