We are seeking a person to perform cleaning and waste management tasks at the Salto del Negro landfill in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Prior experience in cleaning buildings, offices, warehouses, or open spaces is essential, as well as knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies. Immediate availability for hiring and possession of a personal vehicle are required, as public transportation access to the site is poor. Priority will be given to candidates holding a disability certificate of 33% or higher, or permanent total incapacity; registration as a job seeker is also mandatory. Responsibilities include cleaning, sorting, and managing waste within the assigned area. Manual collection of lightweight waste—such as paper and plastic—scattered by wind inside the landfill will be carried out. The work involves walking along trails and across various sections, placing collected waste into bags or containers, and then correctly sorting it into designated zones according to waste type. Working hours are full-time, 38.5 hours per week from Monday to Friday, morning shift from 07:00 to 15:00\. The contract is temporary, covering vacation leave, with potential for extension. The annual gross salary is 17\.094 euros, paid in 14 installments.
