Job Summary: Support the interdisciplinary team in providing comprehensive care to service users, collaborating in daily activities, caregiving, and institutional routines. Key Responsibilities: 1. Participation in preventive, occupational, and leisure activities Two positions are offered for temporary replacements due to staff illness or vacation. Support the interdisciplinary team in the reception and onboarding of new service users, assisting in adapting the individualized care plan. Carry out interventions scheduled by the interdisciplinary team aimed at covering activities of daily living. · Collaborate in planning, organizing, and implementing preventive, occupational, and leisure activities. • Maintain personal hygiene of service users. Clean the first-aid kit and its contents, as well as other healthcare or assistance-related materials. • Provide and administer food to residents, facilitating ingestion where required; handle receipt, distribution, and collection of meals in the service user’s room. Perform repositioning and other auxiliary services assigned according to technical training. • Collaborate with the nursing service in repositioning bedridden individuals and in actions facilitating their examination and observation. • Assist residents in preparation for transfer, performing escort, monitoring, and supportive actions. • Collaborate with healthcare staff in medication administration. • Under nursing supervision, assist in caring for residents with colostomies and catheters, as well as administering food via syringe. In the nurse’s absence, perform glucose testing, use subcutaneous routes to administer insulin and heparin to users—provided dosage and treatment follow-up are managed by medical or nursing personnel. • Accompany service users in activities designed to maintain and improve physical and motor capabilities, as well as in scheduled activities such as medical appointments, excursions, errands, etc., facilitating the service user’s participation therein. · Collaborate in applying accident prevention techniques according to established protocols and instructions from the responsible supervisor. • Collaborate with the Sociosanitary Care Technician (TASOC) in animating and enlivening daily life at the institution. • Assist service users in performing maintenance activities and exercises, following guidance from competent professionals. Without replacing staff specifically hired for routine cleaning, perform cleaning and hygiene of utensils, clothing, and rooms when service circumstances require it. Support and encourage communication among service users to promote their daily functioning and social interaction. • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team in integrating family members of service users into the center’s daily life. • Maintain absolute confidentiality regarding the service user’s medical condition, individualized care plan, and any matter related to their privacy; always act in coordination with and under the responsibility of directly supervising professionals. • Perform cleaning and maintenance of users’ belongings, assist in keeping rooms orderly, collect clothing, deliver it to the laundry, manage users’ personal clothing, and make beds according to each user’s needs, following established quality criteria: clean linens, absence of wrinkles and moisture, proper positioning, special attention to body folds and other high-risk areas, respecting user privacy. • Report any incidents affecting users’ health. Observe and record in the incident log any detected behavioral and/or physical changes. Candidates must hold the required qualification or authorization and/or possess the necessary experience for performing their duties, as stipulated in current regulations * Minimum 1 year of experience working in residential or sociosanitary facilities serving dependent persons * Sociosanitary Care Technician * Catalan (intermediate spoken, intermediate written) * Spanish (intermediate spoken, intermediate written) * Temporary employment contract (3 months) * Full-time work schedule * Gross monthly salary ranging from '1221' to '1400'
