Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced maintenance operator to ensure the proper functioning of machinery, repair breakdowns, and implement improvements at our Escaleritas plant. A passionate and collaborative team We are looking for a candidate for the **maintenance operator** position at our Escaleritas site. **Job Functions and Responsibilities:** * Verify proper startup of production lines upon plant opening. * Repair breakdowns reported by various departments of the company and plan those requiring longer durations to avoid extended production line stoppages. * Perform maintenance on all control panels, motors, plant machinery, and office equipment. * Execute assigned preventive maintenance orders. * Detect and diagnose faults and breakdowns. * Advise operators on issues that may affect equipment performance but are not currently being considered. * Ensure workplace safety and correct application of safety procedures. * Carry out new installations (e.g., installing new machinery). * Implement machinery improvements to prevent recurring breakdowns. * Collect spare parts from the electrical spare parts warehouse. * Support external maintenance technicians when internal resolution of a breakdown is not possible. * Perform format changes on the production line. * Identify machine improvements through detection of recurring faults and implement them to ensure optimal facility operation. * Comply with hygiene regulations and good manufacturing practices. * Comply with safety regulations and use PPE to perform tasks safely. **Required Education** * Higher vocational degree in electricity or mechanics. **Required Experience** * Prior experience in this role or in similar activities is required. **Competencies and/or Skills** * Task comprehension. * Task resolution. * Collaboration. * Reliability. * Tenacity. **What We Offer** * Joining a sector-leading company in a professional and competitive environment. * Permanent contract, full-time, with rotating shifts: 4:00–12:00, 06:00–14:00, and 13:50–21:50\. * Opportunity for professional growth and development. * A passionate and collaborative team.
