Position Summary: The General Maintenance Technician contributes to the vision and values of Six Senses Ibiza by performing civil works and facility maintenance and delivering an exceptional guest experience. Key Highlights: 1. Civil works and building facilities and room maintenance. 2. Technical experience in luxury hotel maintenance. 3. Proficiency in plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, painting, and masonry. By embracing the vision and values of Six Senses, I will deliver an exceptional experience for guests and develop hosts to become the best they can be. ***Responsibilities*** The General Maintenance Technician will perform the following tasks relevant to this role: * Perform maintenance on civil works elements of the building and its rooms: painting, masonry, and carpentry. * Perform maintenance on building facilities and its rooms: electrical work and plumbing. * Use personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure personal safety during work. * Attend trainings as required. * Uphold Six Senses service and operational guidelines and standards. * Strictly comply with LQA standards and guest feedback. * Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Engineering Supervisor or Director of Engineering. ***Qualifications*** To perform the General Maintenance Technician role, I possess the following required qualifications: * Technical maintenance experience in an equivalent or higher position within luxury hotels. * A committed individual with excellent organizational skills. * Technical competencies include plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, painting, and masonry. * Experience in carpentry, painting, electrical work, and plumbing. * Ability to organize tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines effectively. * Flexibility for shift work. * Residency in Ibiza is considered important, though not definitive. *Six Senses Ibiza is an equal opportunity employer.
