Description
We are seeking a Section Manager to join the Hotel IPV Palace & SPA, located in Fuengirola – Málaga.
We seek candidates with at least 1 year of experience managing teams of 5–10 people in hotels, demonstrating motivation, leadership, conflict resolution skills, and proven experience in the restaurant or hotel sector. Candidates must hold a food handler’s certificate, be proficient in POS systems and Microsoft Office, possess conversational English, and have their own vehicle for commuting to the workplace. Proficiency in additional languages is highly valued.
Responsibilities:
\- Supervision of the assigned section.
\- Management of front-of-house staff.
\- Customer service.
\- Coordination with the kitchen, ensuring quality control, staff training, and team motivation.
\- Sector inventory management.
\- Preparation and organization of events.
\- Compliance with regulations, and ordering food and beverages for the sector.
\- Assignment of shifts based on staff rosters, review of working hours, and preparation of schedules.
\* REQUIREMENTS
● ESSENTIAL:
○ Certification: Food Handler’s Certificate.
○ Experience: Candidates must demonstrate at least 1 year of experience managing teams and serving as section head in hotels and/or restaurants.
○ Knowledge: Customer service, event management, and leadership skills.
○ Tools: Microsoft Office (Excel), POS system operation, cash drawer reconciliation.
○ Language: Spanish, English (conversational).
○ Sector: Restaurant.
○ Availability: Immediate.
○ Other: Own vehicle for commuting to the workplace.
● DESIRABLE:
○ Language: French or other language.

Salary: €25,000.00–€27,000.00 per year
