The selected candidate will join the healthcare team of a residential care facility, reporting directly to the facility's management. Key responsibilities include the safe administration of prescribed medications to residents, ensuring adherence to established protocols and proper documentation of each dose. Additionally, the candidate will routinely measure and record vital signs, and must be able to identify and report any anomalies or significant changes in residents' health status. Another essential function is the daily, personalized monitoring of each resident, tracking their progress and overall condition. This involves coordinating with other members of the multidisciplinary team to adjust care plans accordingly. The candidate will also be responsible for managing scheduled laboratory tests—from requisitioning through basic interpretation of results for reporting to the medical team—and for coordinating referrals to specialized healthcare centers when clinically indicated. This role is fundamental to maintaining high-quality care and resident well-being, operating within a collaborative environment where observation, effective communication, and humanized treatment are core values. We seek a professional committed to person-centered care, capable of integrating into the facility’s operational dynamics and contributing expertise for the benefit of the resident community. Working hours are part-time: weekday afternoons (Monday to Friday, 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM) and Saturday afternoons (3:00 PM to 8:00 PM), totaling 25 hours per week. The position offers an indefinite-term contract and an approximate annual salary of 25\.000 euros. The workplace is located in a highly pleasant and well-connected area of Pozuelo de Alarcón. Applicants must hold a Spanish-recognized Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and have at least one year of professional nursing experience. Prior experience in geriatric care or with elderly patients will be considered favorably. Practical knowledge and strong adaptability to integrate into a dynamic team are required.
