**What does this job involve?** ---------------------------------- At HOTAU, the management company of Hotel Ur Bare in Zarautz (Gipuzkoa), we are seeking a **Night Receptionist** to assume responsibility for guest service and operational management of the establishment during the night shift. This position is critical to ensuring continuity, security, and proper hotel preparation between the end of the day shift and the start of morning service. You will join a team committed to excellence in customer service and hotel operations, within a professional and dynamic environment. **In this role, you will be responsible for:** Receiving guests in person and by phone during the night shift, managing late arrivals, check\-in, and early departures. You will resolve guest requests and incidents, manage reservations, billing and collections, and operate the PMS for correct daily shift closure and opening. You will communicate incidents and pending matters to the morning reception team and supervise the premises overnight, responding promptly to any incident. You will assist in preparing the breakfast service, including organizing food items, setting tables and arranging spaces, as well as restocking necessary supplies. Additionally, you will support auxiliary restaurant tasks when required. You will perform minor cleaning and tidying tasks, inspect common areas, care for plants, and carry out non-technical maintenance support tasks, reporting any issues to the maintenance team. **Job Requirements** **Experience:** Prior experience in hotel front desks, tourist accommodations, or similar establishments is required. **Autonomy and responsibility:** Ability to work independently and assume full responsibility for the establishment during the night shift. **Customer orientation:** Strong ability to deliver professional and friendly service, as well as to handle incidents and unforeseen situations effectively. **Versatility:** Willingness to collaborate across different hotel departments. **Digital competencies:** Regular use of computer tools and hotel management software. **We especially value** **Night shift experience:** Previous experience working night shifts and familiarity with hotel PMS systems will be highly valued. **Languages:** Proficiency in foreign languages—especially English—is valued. **Position details** **Location:** Zarautz, Gipuzkoa. **Schedule:** Night shift from 23:00 to 06:00\.
