Modern facilities exceeding 10\.000 m², featuring large cold-storage capacity, an automated production line, national and international distribution, and quality standards such as IFS Food. **Job Description:** We seek to hire an operator experienced in operating **counterbalanced forklifts** and **reach-stackers**, to support logistics, warehousing, and production operations. The candidate will join the logistics/warehouse department and work closely with production, quality assurance, and dispatch teams. **Main Responsibilities:** * Operate counterbalanced forklifts and reach-stackers to move raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods within the facility. * Load, unload, and organize goods; maintain product traceability until final destination. * Collaborate in efficient warehouse organization, optimizing storage space, internal routes, and time efficiency. * Maintain forklifts in good working condition, promptly reporting malfunctions or maintenance needs. * Comply with Merpacífico’s established safety, hygiene, and quality standards, as well as food safety regulations (IFS, cold-chain control, etc.). * Collaborate with the team to ensure adherence to production and dispatch deadlines. **Requirements:** * Proven experience operating counterbalanced forklifts and reach-stackers. * Valid forklift operator license. * Physical capability and stamina for warehouse and frozen-storage work. * Ability to work effectively in a team. * Knowledge of (or willingness to learn) safety and quality standards (food safety, traceability, etc.). * Availability to work rotating shifts if required. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Prior experience in food companies, seafood industries, or cold-storage facilities. * Additional training in logistics, food safety, etc. * Proficiency in temperature control and hygienic procedures. **We Offer:** * Permanent contract. * Salary commensurate with experience and responsibilities. * Employment in a growing, modern company with high quality standards and international projection. * Continuous training. * Positive working environment.
