The Forklift Operator position focuses on logistics and material handling operations within an industrial environment. Key responsibilities include the efficient loading and unloading of materials and goods, ensuring that all processes are carried out safely and in accordance with established procedures. Additionally, the professional will be responsible for the correct placement and storage of goods in designated areas, optimizing available space and maintaining an organized inventory to facilitate location and subsequent distribution. The role also encompasses general warehouse operative tasks, supporting various warehouse activities as required by current operational needs—demanding versatility and adaptability. Performing these functions requires in-depth knowledge of operating specific machinery, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to ensure both personal safety and the safety of handled materials. Work will be conducted in coordination with other members of the logistics team, fostering effective communication to meet delivery deadlines and warehousing objectives. The offered contract is monthly-based, with working hours organized into rotating shifts covering the time slots from 07:00 to 15:00 and from 15:00 to 23:00. A positive team working atmosphere is promoted, and availability to work Monday through Friday is required. A valid and verifiable forklift operator license is required, along with a minimum of one year’s experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks. Immediate availability to start the position is mandatory.
