At Amazon, we are constantly seeking opportunities to empower our partners with the latest technology to enhance our offerings and reduce costs for our customers. One way we do this is through our network of Distribution Centers / CF Flex, which implements Amazon’s distribution processes within vendors’ and 3PLs’ warehouses—enabling greater storage capacity and faster delivery of items to customers.
You will be responsible for one or more strategic vendors and/or 3PLs. You will coordinate operational processes and order workflow for Amazon’s customers, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and maintain consistent communication with business partners.
As this role may involve on-site visits to Vendor Flex centers to provide direct support, a valid driver’s license may be required.
Key job responsibilities
* Ensuring the successful and continuous operation of Amazon’s operational processes, and participating in the coordination and continuous development of all processes within the CF Flex area, under the Amazon–Vendor/3PL partnership framework.
* Monitoring key operational processes within the warehouse to ensure defect-free execution. These include, but are not limited to: Receiving, Storing, Picking, Packing, Shipping, Transportation, Quality, Stock Integrity, and Transfers.
* Direct contact with representatives of our vendors and 3PLs, as well as with Amazon support functions across various teams—including, but not limited to: SST, Sales, Transportation, IT, and Business Development.
* Oversight and tracking of key performance indicators aligned with overall CF Flex objectives. Supporting the CF Flex network in areas including, but not limited to: warehouse coverage, launches, closures, relocations, and conversions—as well as executing continuous improvement initiatives and new projects.
A day in the life
As a logistics assistant, you will serve as Amazon’s local representative, communicating daily with external business partners (vendors and 3PLs) and internal teams (leadership and other departments—including, but not limited to: SST, Sales, Transportation, IT, and Business Development). We continuously seek ways to improve our processes, and you will play a critical role in identifying and implementing such improvements. You will possess strong knowledge of the daily tasks of a logistics assistant and act as a trusted point of reference for Amazon—demonstrating commitment, reliability, sound health and safety practices, and consistently delivering high-quality results.
The CF Flex organization primarily relies on the individual presence of the logistics assistant at the site, supported by teamwork and remote management—making communication skills essential. Willingness to travel is mandatory, as you may occasionally be deployed to other CF Flex locations to provide support.
