Therefore, with each new hire, we seek individuals who share our values and wish to contribute professionally and humanely. * LOCATION: Portugalete * DEPARTMENT: Social Action PROGRAM: International Protection * POSITION MISSION: To support service users in their social integration process. **YOUR DAY-TO-DAY AS AN INTERVENTION TECHNICIAN AT MPDL** * Reception and accommodation upon arrival of program service users. * Support for language-learning activities. * Implementation of specific activities with minors and families (e.g., workshops on healthy eating, household economics, family planning, academic support, development of values aligned with a Culture of Peace…). * Promotion of healthy leisure activities. * Coordination with external resources. * Conducting socio-educational accompaniment within Individualized Pathways. * Design and implementation of group activities targeting program service users. * Design and implementation of community-based actions, with special emphasis on raising awareness among the general population. * Fostering the creation of social networks. * Supervision of the proper condition of reception facilities. * Reporting to management and the work team any breaches of operational rules at reception facilities. * Holding assemblies and meetings with service users across various reception facilities, as well as organizing activities and workshops to improve coexistence and daily life organization. * Searching for housing for program service users. * Organizing and conducting visits to potential rental properties. * Negotiating with landlords and real estate agencies. * Informing service users about housing access procedures, contractual terms, habitability conditions, etc. * Neighborhood mediation in conflicts potentially arising from coexistence. * Awareness-raising activities aimed at fostering harmonious coexistence. * Activities to encourage and strengthen neighborhood participation and involvement of beneficiaries in public spaces. * Participation in technical coordination forums with public administrations and entities working with asylum seekers and beneficiaries of international protection. * Monitoring compliance with the ‘Social Commitment to Participation’ and reporting monitoring outcomes to the team. * Preparation of monitoring reports and final program justification documents, as well as other documents coordinated with other professionals. * Use of SIRIA (Information System for Programs targeting Refugees, Immigrants, and Asylum Seekers) and/or other program databases or files. * Participation in team coordination meetings, as well as meetings with other departments and programs within the organization. * Strengthening and supporting other professional team members. Accompanying and supporting volunteer staff or interns assigned to the relevant programs. * Reporting any incidents occurring during task execution. * Drafting and preparing technical proposals containing up-to-date information for designing new social and legal intervention projects and programs. * As an MPDL staff member, participating in initiatives aimed at preventing abuse and harassment, and ensuring compliance with and respect for the organization’s internal Code of Conduct. **Profile:** **WHAT WE SEEK** * **EDUCATION**: Vocational Training / Vocational Qualification in Social Integration or equivalent academic qualification, complemented by knowledge acquired through demonstrable experience in a similar role. Desirable training and/or experience in Gender Equality, Human Rights, and Migration. * **EXPERIENCE**: Minimum 1 year in a similar reception/intervention program serving refugee and immigrant populations. Experience in associative movements and familiarity with local resources. * **LANGUAGES**: Proficiency in English, French, and/or Arabic will be considered favorably. * **INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY**: Solid office software skills, Google Workspace environment, online collaborative tools, etc. Experience using SIRIA is valued. * **OTHER**: Legal knowledge and familiarity with the Asylum / International Protection System are desirable. A valid driver’s license and personal vehicle are desirable for occasional job-related travel (mileage reimbursed by MPDL per internal procedure). Immediate start. Professional Group 2 under the Bizkaia Social Intervention Collective Agreement.** * **WORKING HOURS: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (35 hours/week during summer).
