***Company Description*** Barrel.cloud is a company located in Castelldefels (UPC) that has developed an end-to-end automated solution for photo/video capture, distribution, and sales, targeting amusement parks, events, leisure and adventure companies, photography agencies, and freelance photographers. Its photo search engine is based on image recognition (facial and text) and machine learning, enabling users to locate their multimedia content among millions within milliseconds. We are seeking a Junior Assembly Technician to take full responsibility for the assembly and integration cycle of a remote photo-capture device. The selected candidate will assemble the device from scratch, including housing assembly and integration of all electronic components, ensuring proper functionality and delivery in accordance with project requirements. ***Key Responsibilities*** * Full assembly of a remote photo-capture device from scratch. * Housing/enclosure assembly and mechanical mounting of components. * Integration, connection, and verification of electronic components. * Soldering of electronic components and finish inspection. * Coordination and communication with the team to ensure correct project execution. * Adherence to deadlines, quality standards, and best assembly practices. ***Requirements (Mandatory)*** * Basic knowledge of electronics. * Demonstrable experience or capability in: \-Soldering electronic components. \-Handling and understanding power supplies. \-Assembly and integration of components (relays, buses, power supplies, etc.) * Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively. * Motivation to continuously learn and improve. * Responsibility, commitment, and project delivery orientation. ***Preferred Qualifications (Desirable)*** * Strong communication skills. * Basic knowledge of microcomputers such as Raspberry Pi. * Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux systems. * Terminal and command-line proficiency. * Python programming. * Basic networking knowledge and hands-on experience with routers. * Familiarity with photography and DSLR cameras. * Functional English level (technical and/or communicative).
