Job Summary: We are seeking an Internal Auditor to strengthen our team, participating in the execution of the Risk-Based Annual Audit Plan and reinforcing the internal control system. At Grenergy, we aim to reinforce our Internal Audit team amid growth and increasing operational complexity. We have two positions available: one based in Spain and a second involving expatriation to Santiago, Chile, on a medium- to long-term basis (between 1 and 2 years). The selected candidate will play a key role in executing the Risk-Based Annual Audit Plan and contribute to strengthening the internal control system, as well as supervising the organization’s key risks. What will your day-to-day look like? * Participate in developing the Risk-Based Annual Audit Plan. * Lead audits end-to-end (planning, execution, documentation, reporting, and follow-up). * Evaluate the design and operational effectiveness of the internal control system. * Analyze financial, operational, and project-related processes. * Identify relevant risks and root causes of identified findings. * Draft executive reports addressed to Senior Management and the relevant Committee. * Conduct structured follow-up of action plans arising from internal and external audits. * Collaborate with various business areas to identify emerging risks and promote improvements in governance and internal control. What are we looking for? * University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related field. * Minimum 8–10 years’ experience in auditing, including at least 3 years in internal audit. * Solid knowledge of internal control, risk management, and accounting regulations. * Advanced level of English (C1 mandatory). * Willingness to travel occasionally. We especially value: * CIA certification. * Experience in the energy or infrastructure sector. * Experience in data analysis. We are a Spanish multinational clean energy producer.
