The position focuses on comprehensive care for older adults, emphasizing support in their daily lives and overall well-being. Responsibilities include assisting with cognitive stimulation and participating in maintenance therapies designed to preserve residents' physical and mental capacities. Handling behavioral containment situations and crises is required, applying appropriate techniques to ensure safety and calmness in the environment. A fundamental part of the role is strict supervision of medication administration and monitoring of vital signs, ensuring adherence to the therapeutic plan established by the medical team. Furthermore, user autonomy in Activities of Daily Living is promoted, fostering independence as much as possible. Other tasks include assistance with personal hygiene and grooming, as well as providing general support to meet each individual's basic needs. The role demands an empathetic attitude, responsibility, and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare setting. Work is carried out in a geriatric center, where quality of care and respect for individuals' dignity are paramount values. The professional will be part of a multidisciplinary team, closely collaborating with nurses, physicians, and other specialists to deliver coordinated and personalized care. Salary is determined according to the applicable collective agreement, with a gross remuneration of 9.65 euros per hour worked. The contract is temporary, arising from a worker's temporary incapacity leave, with potential subsequent integration into the permanent staff. Working hours are full-time, with a rotating day-off system organized according to service needs and the center's scheduling. A qualification as a nursing assistant, caregiver for dependent persons, or an equivalent healthcare professional certification is required. Completion of a Medium-Level Vocational Training (FP Grado Medio) program in the healthcare field is mandatory. Specific knowledge in nursing assistance applied to geriatrics is valued. A minimum of one year's experience in similar positions within the socio-healthcare or geriatric sector is required.
