Job Summary: We are seeking individuals to provide academic support to primary school students, reinforcing academic habits, study techniques, and foundational competencies. Key Highlights: 1. Main Responsibilities and Functions: * Accompany students according to activity type, reinforcing academic habits and developing study techniques. * Reinforce knowledge of the Catalan language—particularly oral language—by fostering debate spaces, playful activities, etc. * Facilitate group integration among students to promote collaborative and mutual-help strategies, and foster positive attitudes toward learning. * Encourage use of educational center resources (e.g., school library, computer equipment) by students receiving academic support and during study time, especially when completing homework, and foster a love of reading. * Support integration of newly arrived students into the school environment through open educational proposals (playful activities, cooperative games, etc.). * Coordinate\-with school teaching staff to jointly define intervention approaches aimed at improving students’ educational outcomes. ### **Requirements** Candidate Profile * Education: Preferably a degree in education (either as a current student or with completed studies). * Certification in leisure activities is valued: e.g., “Monitor/a” or “Director/a d’activitats de lleure d’infantil i juvenil”, issued by the Directorate General of Youth of the Government of Catalonia. * Experience: Valid experience in education, social education, and leisure-based educational activities; suitability for working with children and youth; ability to work collaboratively in a team. Competencies: * Proficiency in computer tools. * Communication and initiative skills * Social and leadership skills * Ability to work collaboratively in a team * Capacity for analysis and assessment of the social and educational environment Languages: Proficient command and use of spoken and written Catalan and Spanish. Other Considerations: * Commitment to the organization and project over medium/long term. * Availability to work during the specified schedule and at the designated location. * Certificate confirming absence of sexual abuse convictions ### **Offer** Workplace Conditions: a. Location: Primary schools in the Bellvitge neighborhood (L’Hospitalet del Llobregat) b. Working Hours: 6 hours/week (5 hours of direct student contact and 1 hour of preparation). Schedule: Monday to Friday, 2–3 p.m. (1 hour of preparation is flexible) c.
