Through this opportunity, you will participate in new project developments, assuming the role of **Senior Java Backend Developer for a major international client.** * Location: Madrid City Center (2 days per week hybrid) * Schedule: Mon–Thu: 8.5 hours/day. Start time between 7:00 and 9:30; end time no earlier than 16:00. Fridays: until 15:00, working 7 hours. **Responsibilities:** * Design, develop, and maintain both backend and frontend components for a large-scale critical enterprise platform. * Work on an enterprise backend based on Java and a modern frontend built with Angular. * Apply software engineering best practices (testing, documentation, code reviews, etc.). * Take end-to-end ownership of features — from database and API design to user interfaces. * Handle software packaging and automated deployment. * Apply agile methodologies throughout the development lifecycle: clarify and challenge requirements, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features. **To be a match...** Solid experience with **Java (recent versions, e.g., 21), Spring, and Spring Boot.** **Frontend experience with TypeScript and Angular (v16+)** Experience with **microservices.** Experience in **functional or reactive programming.** Experience using **Kubernetes or Red Hat OpenShift.** Valuable: experience in containerized environments (Docker) and Kubernetes.
