At Saigu Cosmetics, we are not only building a makeup brand; we are building a different way of working. Since 2019, we have been developing high-quality products designed to enhance beauty in a practical and natural way, while building a team driven by ambition, autonomy, and a genuine desire to create impact. We are looking for curious, committed, and proactive individuals who want to grow alongside a company in full expansion. That’s why we are seeking our next **Purchase Specialist**. In this role, you will play a key part within the Supply team: ensuring we have the materials, components, packaging, and services we need—when we need them—while continuously seeking better ways to purchase, negotiate, analyze, and work. #### **This position is for you if:** You enjoy understanding what lies behind the numbers, negotiating with sound judgment, and seeing how your decisions have a real impact on the business. You must be an organized and rigorous person, capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously—but also someone inquisitive: if you notice something could be improved, we expect you to question it, propose alternatives, and help us change it. You will work within the Supply team, reporting directly to the **Head of Supply Chain**, and collaborating extensively across functions with Supply Planning, Logistics, Product, Finance, Quality/Regulatory, Revenue, and other teams involved in procurement and product development processes. On a day-to-day basis, you will combine the most operational aspects of procurement with analysis, negotiation, planning, and continuous improvement. Because here, we don’t seek someone who simply places orders—we want someone who understands the rationale behind decisions and helps Saigu grow ever more efficiently. #### **How will you generate impact at Saigu?** * Manage the end-to-end procurement cycle for materials, packaging, raw materials, services, and consumables, tracking each order through to correct receipt. * Ensure we have the necessary materials and that procurement lead times align with Supply planning. * Work directly with national and international suppliers, negotiating prices, payment terms, lead times, and other commercial conditions. * Identify opportunities to optimize costs and improve commercial terms without compromising our quality and service standards. * Build long-term relationships with strategic suppliers and participate in sourcing and qualification of new partners when needed. * Monitor finished goods, semi-finished goods, and component stock levels, helping us maintain a balance between having what we need and avoiding overstock or unnecessary tied-up capital. * Analyze potential inventory variances and propose actions to prevent stockouts or excesses. * Analyze purchasing cost trends and their impact on our product margins. * Track the Procurement budget and contribute to achieving the company’s COGS targets through better purchasing, negotiation, and procurement decisions. * Keep procurement and import-related documentation updated and fully traceable. * Handle documentation required for international operations and support Finance on matters such as customs declarations (DUA), invoices, and customs documentation. * Maintain up-to-date and accurate master data for procurement and suppliers within the ERP, ensuring we operate with reliable information. * Analyze and report key Procurement KPIs and prepare data for monthly closings and S\&OP meetings. * Provide analytical support for Supply team decision-making. * And above all, you’ll have space to question how we do things: identify repetitive tasks, simplify processes, and participate in digitalization and automation initiatives that enable us to work better. #### **What you’ll need to succeed in this role:** * Procurement and supplier management and negotiation. * Planning and procurement. * Inventory management and analysis. * Cost, budget, and KPI analysis. * Excel and data analysis tools. * ERP and digital management tools. * Import documentation and international operations. * Basic knowledge of financial processes related to procurement. * Professional English, especially for communication with international suppliers. #### **We want you if you bring:** * At least **2\-3 years of experience** in Procurement, Sourcing, or Supply Chain departments, managing suppliers and procurement operations. * A degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration and Management, Logistics, International Trade, Economics, or a related field. #### **What you’ll find at Saigu:** * Permanent full-time contract. * Hybrid model: office-based in our Barcelona office (Calle Balmes) with 40 annual remote workdays. * Flexible start and end times Monday to Friday. Intensive Fridays. Summer intensive schedule. * Annual gross remuneration between €28,000 and €32,000, depending on experience. * Personalized career plan: mentoring, courses, and development roadmap. * Free Saigu products, free access to launches, and a 50% discount on all Saigu products—for you and anyone you choose. * A close-knit, highly professional team you can always count on. If you’re looking for a project where your work truly matters and where you can grow professionally surrounded by people who share your values, Saigu is the place for you. We will only consider applications from candidates who **already reside in Barcelona or intend to relocate there**. If you meet the requirements, we’d love to meet you in person and tell you more about what we’re looking for—and what we offer. It’s extremely important that we mutually confirm both professional and personal alignment, since we spend nearly as much time with our colleagues as we do with our families—and it’s vital that you know whether you’re placing your talent in service of a project consistent with your own values.
