Currently, we are seeking a Physician for the First Reception Center, Las Raíces, in Tenerife. Responsibilities: Providing medical and health care to residents of the emergency shelter facility. Primary care. Immediate attention in urgent cases. Prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases. Supervision and follow-up of the health status of sheltered individuals. Assessment and management of cases requiring referral to public health services. Responsibility for treatment and follow-up of patients receiving medication. Coordination with Tenerife’s public health services. Coordination with nursing services. Coordination with the technical team of the facility. Participation in training, technical support, and advisory activities for the facility’s team. Contributing the health perspective to the development of individualized pathways for sheltered persons. Management of medications and necessary medical supplies. Management of medical records. Registration of data and services rendered in ACCEM applications. Other tasks necessary for the proper functioning of the facility. Offered: Leave coverage from 03/08/2026 to 02/02/2027\. Full-time schedule, Monday to Friday, 15:00–22:30. **Profile:** Bachelor's Degree in Medicine. Specialty in Family Medicine. Mandatory professional registration. Minimum two years of prior experience. Specialized training and/or prior experience in diagnosing and treating tropical diseases, infectious diseases, and emergencies will be valued. Experience and/or training working with vulnerable or socially excluded groups will be valued. Ability to work in complex contexts with limited resources. Stress tolerance and ability to manage critical situations. Conflict resolution skills. Teamwork skills and willingness to collaborate. Knowledge of migration issues and international protection. Languages (high proficiency in at least one of the following): English, French, Arabic.
