Occupational Therapist – Geriatric Residence At **Grup Lantus**, we are seeking to incorporate an **occupational therapist** for one of our residential centers located in Santa Coloma de Gramenet About Grup Lantus We are a group specialized in the care and companionship of older adults. Job Mission To promote residents’ autonomy, participation, and quality of life through occupational therapy interventions tailored to their needs, abilities, and interests. Main Responsibilities * Assess functional autonomy and occupational performance of residents. * Design and implement individualized occupational therapy plans. * Train and maintain basic and instrumental activities of daily living. * Conduct functional, cognitive, sensory, and manipulative stimulation interventions. * Promote meaningful activities linked to each person’s life history. * Encourage social participation, leisure, and interaction with the environment. * Assess and train in the use of assistive devices, orthoses, prostheses, and functional adaptations. * Propose environmental adaptations to improve autonomy, accessibility, and safety. * Participate in developing and monitoring the individual care plan. * Document assessments, goals, interventions, and residents’ progress. * Actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings. * Advise families and professionals on strategies supporting personal autonomy. * Collaborate in the center’s general activity plan. Essential Requirements * **Bachelor’s Degree or University Diploma in Occupational Therapy.** * Officially recognized or homologated qualification in Spain, if obtained abroad. * Legal capacity to practice the profession. * Professional registration, where required. * Interest in geriatrics and care for dependent individuals. * Ability to work effectively in a team. * Empathy, responsibility, and sensitivity toward older adults. Preferred Qualifications * Experience in residential facilities, day centers, or socio-healthcare services. * Training in geriatrics, dementia, or Person-Centered Care. * Knowledge of assistive devices, accessibility, and environmental adaptation. * Organizational skills, initiative, and strong communication abilities.
