Job Summary: We are seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support the preparation and presentation of dishes, following the guidelines set by the head chefs and adhering to safety and hygiene regulations. Stable position (summer season) INSOTEL HOTEL GROUP is a well-known hotel chain in the Balearic Islands, currently undergoing expansion. Your primary role within the company will be to support the Head Chef in preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes from the gastronomic menu, while ensuring meticulous attention to presentation details, in accordance with instructions provided by the Head Chef and Sous Chef, based on the pre-agreed menu, and complying with established safety, hygiene, and environmental protection regulations. This posting is for our Insotel Tarida Beach and Insotel Tarida Playa hotels located in Sant Josep de sa Talaia. Your main responsibilities will include: * Supporting the preparation of assigned dishes under the guidance of your supervisor, the Station Chef. * Ensuring excellent presentation of all dishes. * Understanding and preparing standardized recipes and ingredient lists (bill of materials) for all items produced in the kitchen department. * Reporting to the Station Chef regarding required ingredients and supplies. * Cleaning and organizing your station. * Following pre-arranged service instructions. * Performing other duties typical of the kitchen department.
