Position Summary: Events Manager to work at a multinational hotel chain property, managing group and event requests, coordinating quotations and negotiations. Key Responsibilities: 1. Manage and coordinate group and event requests. 2. Negotiate and monitor contracts. 3. Coordinate with the reservations department. Catalonia Hotels & Resorts is a multinational hotel chain. It is one of the leading hotel chains in our country, currently operating 80 properties across more than 20 different destinations, and is undergoing rapid expansion. We are seeking an Events Manager to join the RENAISSANCE BARCELONA FIRA hotel, located in the FIRA de Barcelona area (L'Hospitalet). Main responsibilities will include: * Managing group and event requests received by the hotel. * Coordinating with the relevant department to respond to and monitor quotations. * Maintaining the quotation database up to date (informational / on option / cancelled / confirmed). * Managing quotations in line with commercial policy and strategy to maximize results and hotel facility utilization. * Hosting and attending site inspection visits. * Preparing proposals and monitoring their progress. * Negotiating requested groups in coordination with the Groups Manager and Commercial Management. * Drafting contracts and monitoring deposits. * Coordinating with the reservations department for hotel yield management. Requirements: * Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position. * Advanced English proficiency; additional languages are a plus. * Knowledge of OPERA SALES & CATERING.
