




Job Summary: We are seeking a nurse for a senior residence, with responsibilities including direct care assistance, medication management, support to direct care staff, and participation in health protocols. Key Responsibilities: 1. Assisting and providing direct care to residents. 2. Medication and treatment management and monitoring. 3. Collaborating in the development and review of care protocols. A nurse is required for a senior residence, working 27 hours per week, Monday to Friday, morning shift. (No work on holidays). Mission and duties to be performed at the workplace: 1. Participate in the admission process: collecting and providing information regarding functional aspects within the nursing domain to facilitate integration and adaptation to the facility (for both the user and their family). 2. Direct care tasks: intervene in necessary care and attention provided to users. 3. Interact with families to inform them about the user’s health status. 4. Apply nursing-specific techniques, protocols, and procedures. 5. Be responsible for reviewing, distributing, and monitoring the administration of medications and treatments prescribed by medical professionals. 7. Monitor pharmacy order receipt and stock levels. 8. Review pharmacy invoices/orders. 9. Provide necessary support to direct care staff regarding doubts about administering specific medications, care procedures, etc. 10. Conduct ongoing assessments of basic needs of individuals receiving care. 11. Take necessary measures to ensure appropriate healthcare for users, in accordance with established center protocols. 12. In the absence of the residential center’s physician, attend to any user experiencing a health deterioration and carry out appropriate referrals and care. 13. Participate, according to the established schedule, in sessions dedicated to developing, monitoring, and evaluating each user’s individual care plan (PIAI), contributing assessments specific to the nursing domain. 14. Participate in the development and periodic review of the center’s care protocols. 15. Collaborate with direct care staff on tasks requiring nursing support or clarification.
