If you’re passionate about technology that transforms lives, this is your place. **What will be your mission?** A DevOps Engineer combines development and operations skills to optimize the software lifecycle—automating processes and improving collaboration across teams. Their mission is to ensure agile, reliable, and secure deployments, reducing the time between development and production through best practices, automation, and observability. **What capabilities are we looking for in you?** **Automation and CI/CD:** * Design, maintain, and optimize continuous integration and delivery pipelines, ensuring reliable and reproducible deployments. * Automate repetitive tasks and build, test, and release processes. **Containers:** * Manage Docker-based environments, creating efficient, secure, and reusable container images. * Implement best practices for container packaging, versioning, and deployment. **Monitoring and Reliability (SRE):** * Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Azure Monitor. * Contribute to continuous improvement of system reliability by identifying bottlenecks and optimizing response times and availability. * Participate in postmortem reviews and improvement actions based on metrics (SLIs, SLOs, SLAs). **Collaboration and Support:** * Collaborate closely with development, QA, and security teams to improve software quality. * Support incident resolution and problem analysis in integration, pre-production, and production environments. **Security and Compliance:** * Integrate security measures into pipelines and automated deployments. * Apply best practices for secret management, access control, and regulatory compliance. **What other aspects are desirable?** **Professional Experience:** o Minimum 2–4 years of experience in DevOps environments, system administration, or development with a focus on automated deployments. o Essential hands-on experience with Docker (container creation, management, and deployment). o Prior experience as an SRE (Site Reliability Engineer) or in related roles concerning system availability, monitoring, and reliability is highly valued. o Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar. o Kubernetes knowledge is a plus. o Familiarity with Azure (PaaS, AKS, etc.) or other cloud platforms is a plus. **Academic Qualifications:** o Bachelor’s or Engineering degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related fields. o Self-taught professionals or candidates with demonstrable experience via projects, public repositories, or open-source contributions will also be considered. **What advantages will you gain by joining our team?** * **Transformative Projects.** At Telefónica, you’ll join **high-impact projects**, setting trends and addressing society’s key challenges in **connectivity and digital transformation**. * **Professional Development.** You’ll enjoy extensive learning and growth opportunities on a global scale thanks to our presence across multiple geographies.
