Company TALLERS SERRA, S.L., a manufacturer of industrial machinery for the corrugated cardboard sector, located in Martorell with a team of 65 employees, is seeking a **Junior Mechanical Engineer for Pre-Projects.**
This role requires a combination of solid technical skills and communication competencies to enable designing technical proposals for customers. The projects to be defined consist of existing machine sets adapted to customers in the corrugated cardboard sector.

**Responsibilities**

* **Prepare project machinery layout drawings in AutoCAD**
+ Based on a customer quotation request received by the sales department, the junior engineer will gather specifications through direct communication with the customer.
+ With support from the mechanical engineering department, the junior engineer will prepare project layout drawings so that the sales department can formulate quotations based on a technical proposal.
* **Support quotation preparation**
+ The junior engineer will provide technical support to the sales department during quotation preparation, including machine specifications and renders as well as concepts created in Solid Works.
* **Customer visits**
+ The junior engineer will occasionally visit customers in Europe to inspect and measure machinery installation areas, supported by the sales department.
* **Support to the mechanical engineering department**
+ Depending on workload from the above tasks, the junior engineer will perform mechanical engineering tasks such as preparing instruction manuals or designing sub-assemblies.
**Requirements**

**Minimum requirements**:
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably mechanical or related field.
* Advanced level of English, demonstrable through conversation during the interview (e.g., Advanced Certificate Exam or equivalent).
* Willingness to travel occasionally both domestically and internationally, primarily to Europe and the USA.
* Excellent communication skills.
* After an initial learning period, ability to understand customer needs and propose appropriate technical solutions.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD and Solid Works.
* Prior experience is not required, but sound technical understanding of machinery is essential.
**Desired requirements**:
* Mastery of AutoCAD and Solid Works.
* Experience in machinery engineering.
* Knowledge of the corrugated cardboard sector.
* Residence near Martorell.
* Knowledge of French, German, Italian, or other languages will be considered an advantage.

* Full-time schedule of 40 hours per week.
* Flexible working hours around standard office hours:
* Monday to Thursday: 07:30–13:30 and 14:15–17:00.
* Friday: 07:30–13:45.
