We are currently seeking a **Hardware Engineer** to join our electronics team in Madrid. **Main Responsibilities:** * Design and development of electronic circuits from concept through to implementation * PCB design and routing (including high-speed and controlled-impedance designs) * Schematic analysis and support for validation, bring\-up, and debugging tasks * Definition and execution of hardware testing and validation in the laboratory * Diagnosis and resolution of board-level and system-level issues * Use of laboratory instrumentation (oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, power supplies, etc.) * Collaboration with firmware, mechanical, and systems teams * Technical documentation (designs, test plans, procedures, and results) * Wiring and harness design (connector selection, routing, and shielding) **Required Knowledge, Experience, and Candidate Profile:** * Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field * 3–5 years of experience in hardware design and development * Experience in PCB design and routing (Altium Designer preferred) * Ability to interpret electronic schematics * Practical experience in laboratory debugging and validation * Knowledge of electronic instrumentation and measurement techniques * Proactive profile with strong teamwork skills and problem-solving orientation **Desirable:** * Experience in mixed-signal (analog and digital) design * Knowledge of signal integrity and power integrity * Experience in RF layout * Experience in board bring\-up and prototype validation * Familiarity with ECSS or MIL\-STD standards * Experience in the space or defense sector We seek individuals who are **curious**, **creative**, **tenacious**, and **collaborative**, eager to get things done and unafraid to tackle challenges to help improve the society in which we live. #### **Think Big, Do the Job \& Enjoy Life** *At ARQUIMEA, we value diversity and inclusion.
