Job Posting Location: Rubí, Barcelona, Spain Functional Area: Quality Working Model: Onsite Requisition ID: 11223 B. Braun Medical is seeking to hire a Biological Quality Control Laboratory Analyst at its Rubí headquarters for a temporary contract of 12 months. Reporting to the Head of Biological Quality Control, working on the 4th shift (Wednesday to Sunday, afternoon shift), with the possibility of having 2 out of every 5 weekends off, subject to prior agreement. **Responsibilities** * Perform necessary sampling for microbiological analysis of raw materials, in-process products, Clean Media, and finished products. * Execute microbiological tests including bioburden, endotoxin, sterility testing, microbial characterization and identification, D-value determination, growth promotion testing, environmental monitoring, antibiotic potency testing, and method verification and validation, ensuring correct methodological, operational, and documentary execution. * Receive and archive samples, materials, and production records (e.g., EBR). * Prepare standards, diluents, and auxiliary reagents. * Perform equipment verifications and basic maintenance as required. * Record analytical data, reagents, standards, calibrations, preparation and archiving of certificates of analysis. Support documentation and certificates, collaborating with the laboratory’s multidisciplinary team. * Initiate Out-of-Specification (OOS) investigations and report deviations in the deviation management system. * Liaise with other departments within Operations Management, R\&D, DPD, CAPS, Regulatory Affairs, Vetcare, and Industrial Sales as required for sampling, testing, and equipment-related matters. * Withdraw counter-samples and retained samples—whether already analyzed or no longer needed. Segregate rejected materials. Manage laboratory materials and labels to ensure proper segregation of laboratory waste. * Clean, prepare, and sterilize laboratory equipment. Manage and replenish stock of materials in work areas. Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, cross-functional projects, training sessions, and internal audits as required. * **Requirements** * University degree in Microbiology, Biology, or related field. * Intermediate level of English. * Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role. * Knowledge of Quality Regulations, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Regulations, as well as GMP, ISO, and GLP standards. * Familiarity with statistical tools such as Minitab, etc. * Experience with LIMS, Power BI, Bdocs, Btraqs, etc. will be valued.
