At LORTEK, a Technology Center affiliated with BRTA, we are seeking a **Data Analytics Researcher**, whose main responsibilities will be research and technology transfer in the following areas: + Development of research projects in industrial data analytics. + Development and implementation of activities oriented toward Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and related technologies. + Signal processing, data analytics, development of classifiers and predictive models, or visualization and interpretation of results obtained from data-driven models + Participation in multisectoral projects developed with clients and in national and European R\+D projects in collaboration with other members of the group and researchers from other domains at LORTEK + Development of new proposals, collaborating in or leading the management and execution of tasks, interacting with clients and institutions, and contributing to the drafting of deliverables and scientific publications **WHAT WE OFFER** - Attractive personal and professional development opportunities - Continuous technical training - Flexible schedule and working hours - Direct involvement in research and industrial enterprise - Membership in a young, motivated team within a positive work environment - Participation in decision-making processes - Initial employment contract with prospects for consolidation as a cooperative member **Required Academic Background:** * Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Telecommunication Technology Engineering, Computer Engineering, Industrial Electronics and Automation Engineering, or equivalent, along with a Master's degree related to the field. * A Doctorate degree will be considered favorably. **Experience:** * Experience in data analytics, artificial intelligence, and ML. * Experience in other technologies—such as sensing, computer vision, industrial communications—will be considered favorably. * Prior experience in industry-related R\+D projects will be considered favorably. **Knowledge:** * Data processing * Data visualization * Statistical analysis * Descriptive and predictive analytics techniques * Machine Learning * AI system integration * Python, Matlab, C/C\+\+, Code management: GIT, gitea, etc. **Languages:** * Proficiency in spoken and written English. * Basque language **Competencies:** * Leadership and client communication skills (industrial sector) * Responsibility and commitment * Flexibility and multidisciplinarity * Research-oriented mindset * Ability to coordinate with other researchers in Joining Technologies and Additive Manufacturing Technologies * Initiative to propose solutions and capacity to implement them * Autonomy in meeting commitments (quality, deadlines, etc.) * Orientation toward generation and transfer of technological solutions
