We provide comprehensive services—from project development through to commissioning—with international experience across three key areas: **Energy, Water & Environment, and Industry**, delivering projects such as energy networks, waste and biomass valorization, combined cycles and cogeneration, as well as initiatives related to hydrogen, biogas, and biomethane; hydraulic projects, water network management and environmental solutions, pipeline development, and other industrial innovations.
We are part of **VULCAIN ENGINEERING**, an international French engineering group with a multisectoral focus, operating across key infrastructure and energy domains.
We are currently seeking an **INSTRUMENTATION & CONTROL ENGINEER** specialized in **INDUSTRIAL PROJECTS**, to join our team based at our **Madrid** office.
**Responsibilities:**
* Develop basic and detailed engineering for instrumentation and control systems.
* Prepare instrument lists, data sheets, technical specifications, and drawings (layout, loop diagrams, wiring, etc.).
* Participate in the selection and specification of field instruments (sensors, transmitters, control valves, etc.).
* Design control architectures (PLC, DCS, SCADA) and define input/output signals.
* Collaborate with process disciplines on electrical, mechanical, and civil projects to ensure proper system integration.
* Develop control logic diagrams for plant systems.
* Support technical review of supplier documentation and manufacturing follow-up.
**Requirements**
* University degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics, Control Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
* Minimum experience: 3–5 years in basic and detailed engineering for industrial projects.
* Experience in the energy sector or Oil \& Gas is desirable.
* Knowledge of ISA, IEC, ANSI standards and process control standards.
* Proficiency with tools such as SPI (SmartPlant Instrumentation), AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar.
* Familiarity with PLC, DCS, SCADA, and fieldbuses (HART, Modbus, Profibus, etc.).
* Fluent English (B2 or C1\) is mandatory.
* Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and under defined objectives.
* Clear and effective communication skills.
