Reference ID **JR120218** Company Name **Rhenus Logistics S.A.U.** Location **Valencia**Job Category **Freight Services**Business Unit **Road Freight**Contact Person **Núria De La Rubia****JOB DESCRIPTION** ------------------- **WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT** ----------------------- 1\-Plan and coordinate transport routes to maximize efficiency and minimize costs. 2\- Supervise scheduling and assignment of vehicles and drivers. 3\- Monitor transport KPIs and make adjustments as needed. 4\- Implement and maintain transport management systems (TMS). 5\- Negotiate contracts and rates with transport service providers. 6\- Maintain strong relationships with carriers and logistics providers. 7\- Evaluate supplier performance and take corrective action when necessary. 8\- Ensure compliance with transport regulations and safety policies. 9\- Maintain accurate records of all transport and logistics activities. 10\- Manage and resolve incidents related to freight transportation. 11\- Analyze transport data and generate performance and cost reports. 12\- Identify trends and opportunities for improvement in transport operations. 13\- Prepare periodic reports for Management on the status of logistics operations. 14\- Participate in strategic transport tenders for the Branch. **WHAT YOU BRING** ------------------ * Proven experience as Traffic/ Warehouse Manager or similar position. * Experience in transport and logistics or trade (national / international) is recommended. * In-depth knowledge of transport management processes and systems. * Practical knowledge of transport management software (TMS). * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Organizational and leadership abilities. * Ability to work under pressure and solve problems efficiently.
