Position Summary: We are seeking a Warehouse Area Manager to guarantee optimal supply to our store network through efficient order preparation and team management. Key Responsibilities: 1. Being part of a company with a strong corporate reputation At Dia, we aim to hire a **Warehouse Area Manager** for our **Extremadura delegation, located in Mérida.** The selected candidate will join the **Warehouse** office team. The selected candidate will join the team with the objective of ensuring optimal supply to the store network through efficient, demand-driven order preparation processes — aligned with daily store requirements — as well as management of the order-picking team, thereby contributing to customer satisfaction, maximum quality, and company profitability. Ensure that technical processes comply with our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy. Key **responsibilities** include: * Ensuring efficient warehouse operations and optimization in terms of quality, stock, location, cleanliness, goods preservation, facility and equipment maintenance, as well as safety and occupational risk prevention (PRL). * Supervising, coordinating, and developing the order-picking area work team. * Managing and monitoring cost and productivity indicators for the area. * Ensuring accurate goods preparation, optimizing picking routes, and periodically updating check digits for picking locations. **Requirements:** * **Desired education:** University degree in Business Administration or related fields, and/or Industrial Organization. * **Desired experience:** 3 years’ experience in logistics operations within the logistics sector, including team management responsibilities. * **Languages and proficiency:** English is valued but not mandatory. * **Technical knowledge / IT tools:** Advanced Excel user. **What can we offer you?** * Indefinite-term, full-time employment contract. * Opportunity to join one of Spain’s companies with the Best Corporate Reputation, according to the Merco Companies Ranking 2025. * Discount on your Dia purchases. * Access to our training platform. * A positive working environment.
