Greet guests and determine the number of diners. Seat guests at a clean, available table, pull out chairs, and place a clean, up-to-date menu in front of each guest. Guide guests through the dining room and assist them according to their needs. Move and arrange tables and chairs, adjust the overall layout, and manage seating for groups with specific requirements. Ensure seating is appropriate and that each guest has a napkin, clean flatware, and all other standard items. Verify that sufficient menus are available, and that they are up-to-date, clean, and unwrinkled. Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day and follow continuous cleaning procedures. Monitor available seating in dining rooms, service delivery, guest safety, and well-being. Follow and implement all chain-wide safety policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and any workplace conditions considered hazardous; complete required safety training and obtain necessary certifications. Wear a clean, complete uniform at all times; maintain a neat and professional appearance while on duty; uphold confidentiality when sharing information related to the brand and/or hotel, and protect all company property. Greet and welcome all guests in accordance with chain standards. Use clear and courteous language in all communications; answer the telephone using appropriate language. Develop positive and constructive professional relationships with peers; collaborate and support one another to achieve common goals; listen and respond appropriately to colleagues’ concerns. Uphold quality requirements and standards. Be accustomed to standing, sitting, and moving for extended periods. Independently move, lift, carry, pull, and place loads weighing up to 4.5 kilograms. Perform all other tasks assigned by supervisors that are consistent with this position.
RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS
Education Level:High school diploma or equivalent secondary-level education.
Related Work Experience:No prior related work experience required; previous experience in a food service environment is recommended.
