Flexible working hours and hybrid work option Job Description We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented **Accountant** to manage the company's daily accounting and ensure the accurate preparation of financial reports. The selected candidate will play a key role in accounting, tax, and administrative control, ensuring compliance with current Spanish regulations. Main Responsibilities * Recording and monitoring the company's accounting transactions. * Preparing bank reconciliations and account controls. * Preparing periodic financial reports for management. * Managing accounts receivable and accounts payable. * Supporting the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closings. * Preparing tax filings (VAT, Corporate Income Tax, withholding taxes, etc.). * Controlling and archiving accounting and financial documentation. * Participating in internal and external audits. * Proposing improvements to accounting and administrative processes. * Collaborating with other departments to ensure correct accounting classification of revenues and expenses. Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent qualification. * Minimum 2–5 years of experience in general or administrative accounting. * Knowledge of the Spanish General Chart of Accounts (PGC) and Spanish tax regulations. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. * Experience with financial ERP systems (SAP, Sage, A3, Navision, or similar). * Analytical ability, attention to detail, and organizational skills. * Native-level Spanish; English proficiency is a plus. Preferred Qualifications * Experience in consulting, investment, or auditing firms. * Knowledge of financial consolidation and reporting. * Professional certifications in accounting or finance. * Experience in teamwork and deadline management.
