Drive excellence in Demand Management. **About the Role:** As an **SCM Specialist**, you will be responsible for building strong, credible relationships with business users, other internal company functions, and various suppliers—based on credibility and best practices across the end-to-end procurement process. **Responsibilities:** * Engage with key stakeholders in the Enterprise Unit to build and consolidate strong, credible relationships aimed at maximizing global delivery. Understand business unit needs to incorporate them into relevant negotiations and contractual agreements. * Commercial understanding and sector knowledge to contribute to company savings objectives, oversee contractual risks, negotiate, and ensure suppliers deliver agreed commercial terms. * Execute the end-to-end RFP process—including negotiation, evaluation, supplier selection, and contract closure reflecting agreed terms. * Collaborate with other Finance areas to drive excellence in Demand Management (challenging, questioning, and influencing future demand) while leveraging available SCM initiatives (VPC, Design to Cost, others). * Use available tools to identify opportunities, leveraging the procurement function within SCM to maximize efficiency and goal achievement. * Support overall demand management governance to ensure quality across the end-to-end procurement process. **What We’re Looking For:** * Understanding of supply market dynamics \- Clear awareness of industry trends, economic, financial and market dynamics, business models, and demonstrated business foresight to contribute to strategy and enable effective procurement activities. * Commercial contract management \- Protect Vodafone’s interests by developing and negotiating commercial contracts grounded in knowledge of legal and ethical environments, and managing KPIs related to those contracts. * Demand optimization \- Analyze data and generate insights to challenge and influence requirements, thereby optimizing demand aligned with strategy and budget. * Procurement negotiation \- Ability to lead complex, high-value negotiations, consolidating requirements from both the Enterprise Unit and other Vodafone interests to achieve the best commercial outcome for Vodafone. * Business partnership \- Demonstrate solid understanding of the Enterprise business, identify and prioritize stakeholders, and build sustainable relationships to drive improved business performance and optimal value outcomes. * Substantial applicable work experience in local and global environments, and fluency in English at negotiation level.
