ENERGY MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBLE

Position Summary: We are seeking an Energy Management Engineer to implement and maintain energy management systems, optimize consumption, and manage energy efficiency projects at a tourist complex. Key Highlights: 1. Implementation and maintenance of the ISO 50001 Energy Management System. 2. Comprehensive management of the complex's energy budget and contracts. 3. Identification and execution of energy efficiency improvement projects. • Implement and maintain the Energy Management System in accordance with ISO 50001, establishing the documentation structure, monitoring processes, and energy performance indicators. * Define and supervise the complex's energy KPIs (electric kWh, gas m³, fuel liters, potable and non-potable water m³) and their conversion into economic impact. * Execute monthly energy accounting closure, ensuring traceability and consistency of consumption data. * Prepare and manage the annual energy and water budget, projecting consumption scenarios by energy vector (electricity, gas, fuels, potable and non-potable water) and by park area. * Develop and execute A/B consumption scenario analyses to support energy efficiency decision-making. * Collaborate in the development and continuous improvement of proprietary energy management tools, evolving from manual and Excel-based processes toward automated and integrated solutions. * Support integration between the telecontrol/SCADA system (Rockwell platform and others) and energy consumption data, establishing cause\-effect links between machine scheduling and consumption outcomes. * Participate in the operation of the IoT and remote metering infrastructure under deployment (smart meters, consumption sensors). * Identify, propose, and monitor energy efficiency improvement projects, including management of subsidy and public aid applications linked to efficiency and sustainability. * Manage cross-functional resource optimization projects (e.g., reuse of non-potable water, high-efficiency climate control installations, replacement of fuels with more efficient vectors, etc.). * Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly operational monitoring and decision-making regarding budgetary deviations and propose corrective measures. * Manage the complex's portfolio of energy and water contracts: approximately 10 electricity contracts, 27\-28 water contracts (potable and non-potable), and around 10 gas contracts, plus associated fuel supplies for facilities and fleet. * Coordinate with distributors and suppliers (Endesa, Agbar, gas and fuel providers) on invoice tracking, remote metering, and real-time validation of consumption data. * Identify opportunities for contract renegotiation and tariff condition optimization. * Coordinate with the Operations team on PLC adjustments and machine scheduling to optimize energy consumption according to park occupancy and operating conditions. * Act as the technical liaison and coordination lead for any external contracts, consulting services, or analyses related to energy (e.g., energy audits, efficiency studies, due diligence, decarbonization projects, tariff advisory services, etc.), ensuring deliverable quality and alignment with the complex's objectives. Requirements Education: Required: * Engineering degree (Industrial, Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Energy Engineering, or related field). * Other degrees complemented by a Master’s in Energy. Desirable: * Knowledge or certification in ISO 50001 (Energy Management Systems). Experience: Required: * Experience in budgeting and operational cost control. * Ability to read and interpret energy consumption data and prepare monitoring reports. * Experience managing and analyzing large volumes of data in technical or industrial contexts. * Advanced proficiency in Office tools, especially Excel/BI at an analytical level. * Intermediate programming and development skills (especially Python and SQL). * Ability to work autonomously, results-oriented mindset, and objective-based management. Desirable: * Solid knowledge of electrical systems (low and medium voltage), gas installations, potable and non-potable water networks, fuel storage and distribution, and industrial HVAC systems. * Prior experience in energy management within industrial or high-consumption environments (industrial plants, leisure complexes, logistics infrastructures, etc.). * Familiarity with SCADA systems or industrial telecontrol platforms (Rockwell Automation experience is desirable). * Experience managing contracts with energy distributors or suppliers and fuel providers. * Experience coordinating external energy-related contracts and consulting services. * Experience identifying and processing energy efficiency subsidies. * Knowledge of IoT systems applied to consumption measurement and control.
