Position Summary: We are seeking a Civil or Highways Engineer with experience in the design and drafting of linear construction projects to develop and coordinate projects and prepare technical documentation. Complete preparation of technical documentation At **SOCOTEC Spain**, we are looking for a **Civil or Highways Engineer** to join our **Civil Engineering Projects Department** in Madrid. We seek a candidate with solid experience in the design and drafting of road and/or railway projects, possessing autonomy and the ability to make technical decisions. **Responsibilities** * Development and coordination of **linear construction projects** (roads and railways). * Design of solutions for **drainage, alignment, earthworks, and affected utilities**. * Complete preparation of technical documentation: reports, annexes, specifications, measurements, and budgets. * Technical supervision of work carried out by other team members. * Collaboration with other disciplines (geotechnics, structures, environment, BIM). * Support in project planning and reporting tasks. **Requirements** * Degree in **Civil Engineering (Highways, Canals and Ports)** or **Civil Engineering**. * Valuable experience in: + Surface and subsurface drainage + Alignment design + BIM modeling + Affected utilities + Measurements and budgeting * Proficiency in technical software (Civil 3D, OpenRoads, Presto, AutoCAD, etc.). * Autonomy, coordination ability, and technical vision. **What We Offer** * **Flexible working hours**. * **Remote work** for most of the working day. * Involvement in strategic civil engineering projects. * Job stability and professional development within SOCOTEC Spain. * A robust, multidisciplinary technical environment.
