Valencia Full-time Permanent employee €45,000 – €50,000 per year **Your Mission** ------------- Design and oversee the production planning and operational management system, ensuring a reliable master production plan is always in place, resources (people, machines, materials) are correctly sized against demand, and Shift Responsibles can execute their shifts with clear standards, visible metrics, and capacity for continuous improvement. This role bridges company strategy and daily plant execution. **What Will Your Day-to-Day Look Like?** ---------------------------- Planning: * Master Production Plan: Develop and maintain the master production plan jointly with the Plant Manager (weekly, monthly, and 12-month horizon), integrating forecasted demand, available capacity, and actual operational constraints across each area (Mechanics, Bodywork, Final Assembly Line, Cleaning, Photography). * S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning): Coordinate with Sales to align vehicle intake forecasts and translate them into productive capacity requirements, proactively identifying bottlenecks well in advance. * Capacity vs. Demand Planning: Accurately size human resources (shifts, overtime, temporary workers) and machinery against forecasted workload, avoiding both overload and underutilization. * Production Backlog Management: Prioritize the vehicle pool based on delivery commitments, age, profitability, and technical constraints, maintaining the company-defined target lead time. * Maintenance Planning: Coordinate scheduled maintenance stops with the Maintenance team, minimizing impact on throughput and anticipating effects on the master plan. * Improvement Project Roadmap: Develop project schedules (Kaizen, A3, investments) with milestones, assigned resources, and success KPIs, ensuring on-time execution and intended impact. Operational Responsibilities: * Define, document, and update work standards (SOPs) for all production areas. * Lead continuous improvement projects (Kaizen, A3, 5S), identifying bottlenecks and eliminating waste. * Monitor production KPIs (throughput, lead time, defect rate, OEE) and implement corrective actions in case of deviations. * Manage the operational budget and track actual spending versus planned. * Develop Shift Responsibles’ capabilities through coaching, training, and structured feedback. * Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Logistics, HR, and IT to ensure uninterrupted value flow. * Lead visual management implementation on the shop floor (obeya, Kanban, andon). * Participate in gemba walks with the Plant Manager to identify root causes and propose data-driven solutions. * Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and company ethical code regulations. **What Are We Looking For?** ------------------ * University degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Organization Engineering, or equivalent. * 2–3 years of experience in operations, production, or process improvement within an industrial setting, with accountability for results and teams. * Proficiency in Lean methodologies: Kaizen, 5S, A3, Kanban, SMED, and Visual Management. * Experience managing production KPIs and project management tools (Jira, Asana, or similar). * English level B2 or higher (technical reading and interaction with international suppliers). * Analytical, data-oriented profile: ability to read a production process, identify the real problem—not just its symptoms—and structure solutions. * Influential leadership: ability to mobilize technical teams and supervisors without formal authority. * Genuine Lean mindset: go to the gemba, make problems visible, and understand that leadership’s role is to serve the team. **What Do We Offer?** ------------------- **Project and Professional Development** * Strategic role with direct impact on the company’s production capacity.
