Application of current environmental regulations **Requisition Number:** 24308BR **Description:** Stantec is seeking to hire a JUNIOR MINING ENGINEER for its offices in Peru, requiring a professional with at least four (4) years of general work experience. Key responsibilities include: * Supporting coordination across various departments and specialties within Stantec to execute technical-economic studies and proposals related to mine closure, including engineering development. * Supporting participation in fieldwork as part of mine closure activities. * Applying current environmental regulations and procedures issued by regional and central authorities. * Participating in the preparation of various sections and subsections of environmental studies for the area. * Participating in the planning of mine closure projects and cost estimation. **Qualifications:** Requirements for this position are: * Bachelor’s degree and/or professional title in Mining Engineering and/or related fields. * Advanced level of English proficiency. * Must have experience working in open-pit mining operations. * Proficiency with software: Minesight (or Mineplan) **About Stantec:** Stantec’s community comprises approximately 31,000 employees working across more than 450 locations on six continents.
