




Job Summary: Coordinate and supervise occupational safety and health (OSH) and environmental management at the production plant, promoting a culture of prevention and regulatory compliance. We are seeking an EHS Technician for our production plant located in Oliva\-Valencia. Reporting to the EHS Manager, responsibilities include: JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * Coordinate advisory and consulting services on OSH and environmental management for all plant departments, promoting a culture of prevention and regulatory compliance. * Supervise maintenance activities and ensure proper communication of standards and procedures from ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and other applicable management systems to workers. * Develop and supervise implementation of the plant’s safety plan. * Collaborate in preparing the plant budget related to OSH and environmental management. * Monitor inspections, assessments, and audits of working conditions, ensuring compliance with OSH and environmental regulations and procedures. * Prepare reports and analyses on health, hygiene, and safety conditions, proposing technical and organizational actions to prevent risks and improve working conditions. * Analyze accidents and their root causes, implement preventive measures, and support managers in risk assessments, including ergonomic and safety recommendations. * Maintain up-to-date records on health, hygiene, and safety—including accidents, hazardous substances, and relevant statistics. * Act as liaison with insurance providers and external agencies regarding claims and legal compliance. * Supervise implementation of conclusions arising from accidents and audits. * Participate in drafting and communicating internal regulations, procedures, and instructions on safety, health, and hygiene. * Coordinate daily management of hazardous and non-hazardous waste, as well as chemical products, ensuring regulatory compliance and up-to-date documentation. * Ensure the plant complies with applicable environmental legal and regulatory requirements, including transportation, storage, discharges, and emissions. * Organize and deliver OSH and environmental training sessions to strengthen the prevention culture. * Establish collaborative relationships with production, quality, and other department heads to ensure integration of safety and environmental considerations into operational processes. * Represent the plant professionally on environmental and occupational safety matters. CANDIDATE PROFILE: * Minimum 3–5 years’ experience managing OSH and environmental matters in industrial settings (multiple SKUs, product changes, packaging variants). * Experience conducting safety, health, and environmental audits. * International/multinational experience is valued. * Experience implementing OSH and environmental improvements in continuous processes. * Master’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health with three specializations. * Knowledge of food safety requirements in factories and warehouses. * University degree: Food Science and Technology, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Technical Engineering, or related field. * Advanced level of English. * Proficiency in IT applications relevant to this area of responsibility.
