Job Summary: Prosegur is seeking an Application Engineer to serve as the local technical contact point, providing advanced technical support and ensuring functional adaptation of the product in local environments. Participate in strategic and high-impact projects. At Prosegur, we are looking for an **Application Engineer** to join our team. This position will be based in **Madrid**, operating under a **hybrid work model** (combining remote work with office attendance). **What will your mission be?** Your mission will be to act as the **local technical contact point**, delivering advanced technical support and ensuring the correct functional adaptation of the product in local environments. You will closely collaborate with the country’s operations and the **Global Product Engineering team**, analyzing and documenting business requirements and supporting their proper evaluation and implementation according to defined standards—always ensuring alignment with the global product. **What responsibilities will you have?** * Act as the local technical contact point, collaborating with the country’s operations and the Global Product Engineering team. * Support the business on a day-to-day basis—and especially during closing processes (monthly/operational)—performing technical validations and verifying critical data. * Analyze and resolve incidents in production environments. * Implement targeted fixes and minor enhancements following guidelines defined by the Product team. * Analyze and document local requirements, assessing their technical impact prior to implementation or escalation. * Validate integrations with external systems and local regulatory particularities. * Execute functional testing and support pre-deployment validations in local environments. * Escalate to the Product team cases requiring structural or architectural changes. **What are we looking for?** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent technical education. * Over 4 years of experience in backend development or technical support within production environments. * Practical experience with **.NET** (knowledge of other languages such as **Python or Go** is a plus). * Experience in analyzing and resolving production incidents. * Knowledge of relational databases (SQL queries, data validation, troubleshooting). * Experience integrating with APIs and external systems. * Experience with version control systems (Git). * Ability to analyze functional requirements and document them in a structured manner. * Experience working with business areas or non-technical teams. * Strong communication skills and a problem-solving orientation. **What do we offer?** * Be part of an international team (present in 36 countries). * Work in a dynamic environment with an excellent workplace atmosphere. * Participate in strategic and high-impact projects. * Professional growth through a personalized career plan. * Access to top-tier training via Prosegur’s Corporate University. * Flexible working hours and attractive social benefits through Reflex. * Participation in our Global Well-being Program. * Collaboration with our Foundation to build a fairer society. **Our Purpose and Our Values** “Caring for people and businesses to make the world a safer place, while staying at the forefront of innovation” has motivated us for over 40 years.
