Your responsibilities will focus on implementing optimization improvements for online transactions and Batch processes executed on mainframe systems, enhancing both source code and database (DB2\). Prior performance expertise is not required — we provide a 3-week internal training program to equip you fully for this role. **Competencies:** ----------------- **Required:** * Knowledge and at least 3 years’ experience working with COBOL\-JCL\-DB2 technologies in a HOST environment. * Ability to develop technical designs. * Experience working with large clients. * Knowledge of SQL statements. * Analytical capability regarding existing programs. * Teamwork skills, willingness to learn, and autonomy. **Desirable:** * Experience interacting with clients — oriented toward identifying client needs and adopting a customer-service perspective rather than a purely technical project view. * Experience with large-volume databases. * Familiarity with scheduling tools (Control\-M, etc.) and version control systems (Changeman, etc.). * Knowledge of monitoring and optimization tools (APA, B\-Secure, Strobe, Explain). * Knowledge of SDGB (Oracle). * Intermediate English level (B2\). **Responsibilities:** ---------------------- * Implement optimization improvements for online transactions and Batch processes executed on mainframe systems, enhancing both source code and database (DB2\). * Develop Technical Designs incorporating proposed improvements. * Create and update work methodologies with a continuous improvement orientation. * Address related questions, queries, or issues. **What We Offer:** ------------------ * Competitive salary based on your knowledge and performance. * Permanent contract. * Flexible working hours — we offer flexible and adaptable work arrangements: onsite, remote, or hybrid, tailored to your daily routine. * Personalized training sponsored by the company, aligned with your needs. * English language classes sponsored by the company. * Work equipment of your choice. * Reduced summer working hours. * Opportunity to join an established and growing company with a positive, collaborative work culture — where people are our greatest asset.
