The selected candidate will play a key role in defining product specifications, providing technical coordination across teams, and managing customer relationships—ensuring technical consistency and functional alignment throughout the entire product definition lifecycle. This is an excellent opportunity to grow professionally within an innovative, collaborative environment delivering high added value. **Functional Job Description** You will provide technical leadership to a multidisciplinary team working on the design, development, and integration of onboard perception, navigation, guidance, control, and cooperation systems. As a Senior Engineer, your responsibilities will include: * Defining, interpreting, and decomposing functional and technical requirements in collaboration with users and stakeholders. * Leading—both technically and organizationally—the design, integration, and validation of onboard autonomous perception, navigation, guidance, control, and/or cooperation systems deployed on UAV or space platforms. * Coordinating a multidisciplinary technical team specialized in software, hardware, integration, verification, and validation. * Acting as the technical liaison with customers, facilitating mutual understanding between operational needs and technological solutions. * Overseeing the technical execution of the project—including deliverables, test plans, verification & validation activities, and achievement of technological maturity. * Participating in the preparation of technical proposals (tenders, R\+D, public calls). * Contributing to the product roadmap design by proposing improvements, extensions, or transitions toward industrialization. * Collaborating on applied research tasks (e.g., AI for autonomy or control, computer vision, multi-agent system cooperation, etc.). * Attending meetings, business travel (limited), or field flight days (limited). **Desired Competencies** A highly motivated technical professional with proven experience, eager to grow in the aerospace/defense sector while contributing to the development of innovative systems. Minimum Requirements: * Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electronics, Industrial Engineering, Robotics, Telecommunications, or related field. * Minimum 5 years’ experience in avionics development, GNC algorithms, or perception systems. * Practical knowledge of onboard systems deployed on UAV or space platforms. * Demonstrable experience in: + Coordination of technical teams + Customer-facing technical communication in technology-driven environments + Preparation of advanced technical documentation (requirements, ICDs, V\&V) * Autonomy, system-level vision, and product orientation. * Experience in preparing technical proposals. * Minimum English proficiency level B2 (certification not required).
